This Add-on provides examples of how some of the compound, idiomatic or colloquial verbs in Spanish and English are used to make their meanings understandable to the User.
The grammar notes also included in this Add-on will provide information on when to use any entry. For example, the non-figurative verbal expression: “Take a back seat” will have a note saying “Do not confuse with: Take a back seat, which means shun responsibility”; also, if there is a preferred or alternate spelling of the word, what type of word it is (slang, argot, etc.) and false friends. The package also includes “guides”, which are small tags that give you an idea that is related to the word’s use. Examples: “howl” as a verb has the guide-word [wind] and another meaning of “howl” has [siren] as a guide.
